Native Crestron Home lighting for the Colorbeam GATEway.

Colorbeam GATEway driver for Crestron Home

A native Crestron Home Lighting driver for the Colorbeam GATEway: every load appears as a real Crestron Home light, in the room, on the tile, in scenes, with automatic control typing and instant push feedback. No cloud, no polling.

What it does

Every Colorbeam load appears as a native Crestron Home light: room-assignable, schedulable, usable in scenes and events exactly like a Crestron dimmer.
The right controls appear automatically. The driver reads each load's channel mask and types it: dimmer, tunable white with a bounded Kelvin slider, colour ring, or full RGBW tuning.
Feedback is instant, from any source. The GATEway pushes state changes as they happen, so a dimmer moved in the Colorbeam app shows in Crestron Home immediately. No polling loop.
Room-level All Lights raise, lower, warm and cool work across Colorbeam loads alongside the rest of the room's lighting.
Colorbeam scenes import as Run scene commands, and per-load circadian mode is a programmable on/off with readback.
Built to survive the job site: gateway power-cycle, LAN pull, processor reboot, Crestron Home restart. The driver recovers on its own and leaves no duplicate entities behind.

Compatibility

Requires

Crestron Home processor, CP4-R class, running Crestron Home OS 4.x
Colorbeam GATEway on v2 firmware
GATEway reachable on the project LAN with its API on port 3334
Static IP or DHCP reservation for the gateway (recommended)

Verified on the bench

No bench rows published yet.

Each row is a real probe run against the named firmware. Older rows are marked stale, never hidden.

Evaluate first

Every SynDrivers driver runs in trial mode when no license key is installed. Sideload it and prove it on your own processor, full features, time-limited per load. When it earns its place, license the processor and drop in your key.

FAQ

Can the Colorbeam app and Crestron Home both stay connected?
Yes. The gateway supports concurrent clients, so the Colorbeam app, another controller, and Crestron Home can all be connected at the same time.
What happens when the gateway loses power or the LAN drops?
The driver reconnects on its own once the gateway is back, re-reads the load store, and does not create duplicate entities.
Does it poll the gateway?
No. State arrives on the gateway's own push events. A 30-second drift-repair read is the only scheduled traffic.
Do I configure each load by hand?
No. Controls are typed automatically from each load's channel mask, so there are no per-load configuration screens.
